A new resort in Valemount, British Columbia plans to open in December 2018. According to Liftopia, the resort will feature glacial skiing with North America's longest vertical drop of 6,857 feet. Park City Preserves Mining History

Efforts to preserve the mining history has created a unique experience on the mountain trails. The California-Comstock Mine, one of the oldest mining sites from the early 1900s, is located on Park City Mountain.
